Act4Innocence in Pennsylvania is a campaign originated by the Pennsylvania Innocence Project to bring needed change to Pennsylvania.

Act4Innocence urges people to help prevent wrongful convictions by using traditional and social media, hosting community events, and contacting elected officials to raise public awareness of the prevalence and costs of incarcerating the innocent.

Through increased public awareness of the tragedies of wrongful convictions, the campaign aims to support the implementation of practices that will better protect the innocent, such as revitalized eyewitness identification procedures, required recording of police interrogations of suspects, and increased oversight of government jailhouse informants. These updates would bring us closer to the universal goal of ensuring that no innocent person is ever wrongfully arrested, prosecuted, or convicted.
